Our Head of Advocacy Pete Blackmore along with Director Len Crowder, spearhead the supervisory frame work for our advocates. They are supported by a number of specialist solicitors as well as a team of Advocacy Managers, each of whom have years of experience in civil litigation and advocacy.
The team provides a highly accomplished and knowledgeable service.
- Employed solicitors provide advocates with instructions and supervision.
- The Advocacy Managers assist with the day-to-day management of the Advocacy Service. Under the direction and supervision of the Head of Advocacy, they assisting with monitoring and auditing advocate performance.
- The team is also responsible for assisting in client relations and regularly liaise with clients, to ensure they are receiving the quality of service they expect.
All advocates are subject to regular ongoing assessment as a means of reviewing performance.
- Every advocate is supervised and instructed by one of LPC Law's employed solicitors.
- Solicitors and Advocacy Managers make unannounced visits to court to observe advocates at work.
- Advocates are provided with feedback on their performance and are also required to pass a further legal knowledge test on recent developments in the law.
- Advocates are registered as Data Controllers and subject to Information Security Audits.
- We provide transparent performance statistics and management information on a regular basis.
